Sydney Maler was once little-known across the modeling landscape, but within a short span, her fame skyrocketed.
In the winter 2015/16 issue of Coach & Player Magazine, Alissa Parker notes that Maler had studied marketing and advertising at school, and served as a marketing manager for Hooters, helping her understand social media strategies.
“With her expertise it’s no wonder she has become such a success,” Parker writes. “This girl really knows the ins and outs of the business.”
Originally she had 100 followers on Instagram, and that number swelled to 100,000. Now, as a full-time model in Los Angeles, Sydney Maler has over 1 million followers.
The San Diego native spends her days shooting for publications and appearing in other forms of media.
“Music videos are the craziest,” she said, before detailing a bustling set.
Her interests don’t stop at being a model. In 10 years or less, she wants to have a meaningful job within her realm of knowledge.
“I hope to be more behind the scenes of the marketing and advertising aspect of print/commercials,” she said.
