When New York Giants star receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. went down with a season ending injury this October, Terrell Owens tweeted at the Giants offering his services as a replacement. Owens, who competed on Dancing With the Stars this season, believes he can still play in the NFL. Most viewed the tweet as a joke, but Owens has since stood by his words.

Most fans shrugged off the words of T.O. but he recently backed up his tweet during an interview with TMZ in November. He validated that the tweet to the Giants was indeed serious. Owens insists that his skill set can help any team in the league. According to Sports Illustrated

He even added that he is as good of shape as ever and should be on the field. The 43 year old Owens has been absent from the NFL since 2012 when he participated on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad.

If T.O. decides to make a comeback, NFL fans are at the very least, in for some entertainments. Throughout his career, Owens was both a stellar receiver, with six Pro Bowl selections and a top showman. Fans have always flocked to any game that Terrell Owens is featured in. Owens last game was with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010 when he was 36 years old. He put up 983 yards in just 14 games in that 2010 season. After leaving fans with that performance, we have to wonder if his career really is over.
